How good are the bounceback offers?

I want to be prepared to grab a BB offer when we are there but I need to make sure I have some extra $$ available for a deposit.

How good are the BB offers typically? Or what are they exactly? Room discounts? FD?

Sometimes. Normally ~30% for Deluxes, ~20% for moderates and ~15% for values.

FD?

Sometimes.

We booked a bounce back last August when we were there. We were able to get POFQ free dining for this August, with dates as early as 8/20. When the FD went public this year, POFQ was excluded and I think the first date available is 8/31. So for us it was well worth it!!! We love POFQ and need to be back before school starts. We were even able to book just a standard view room and save a bit more.

It's only a $200 deposit for the FD offer and it's completely refundable up until 45 days before your trip. So if you're even thinking there's a possibility you'll be back, it's worth putting down the deposit to save your spot! We didn't in the past and ended up regretting it!

BBs vary, but a room discount can range from 30-15% depending on the resort category/room type. FD has been offered from time to time, but is usually offered in September for FD in September the next year. It's always a good idea to book a BB even if there's the slightest chance that you can go back because you can always cancel and/or make changes (pending availability) later on, but once you leave Disney, you are no longer eligible to book under a BB.

I booked a bounce back offer this January while staying on rented DVC points. The rate I got was 35% off room only at the YC. At least I think that's what it came out to when I compared the price to rack rate.

I just booked BB on Wednesday! Currently, they are only available through the end of the year. I got 35% off WL woods view for Dec 14-19.

There was no advertisement in our room at Poly, but I asked the club concierge... He said that there are no bounce back offers right now and that they don't make reservations, but I could call 407-WDISNEY and check, so that's what I did!

I don't know for sure that we'll keep it because we also want to go to NYC for Thanksgiving, but now I have the option - and a pretty good discount secured!

I am also curious about bounceback. We are going in November and I never get these in our room. The only thing is... We are avid November goers. It is the only time we like to go. If we we were to get one, We wouldn't be able to book the BB in November for November 2015 right? It would have to be what ever dates are on the actual offer at that time?

Just dial 8844 from your room before you check out to see what the bb offer is, even if you never receive an offer. My experience of asking about it at the front desk is that they don't know what you're talking about. Just dial the number....

We booked a bounce back last September for this September...Today, because of the pool refurb drama at WL, we decided to move to CBR. We have some family staying at CBR, so it was an easy decision.

Anyway, on the web site, there are not "free dining" rooms available, unless you want a Pirate room. I called anyway, and the WdW travel lady said "no problem" and we got preferred rooms!

So, I think there are benefits to doing a bounce back. Or, maybe they just like me? See ya real soon.

The bounce back offers are in the booklets left on your table with all the resort information in it. We were just there last month but the BB offers don't coordinate with when we were going next.

Since I knew about them my last visit, I found the current offer here on the DIS, so I booked it as soon as I checked in. We didn't have one of those booklets in our room on our recent visit. Because I knew there should be BB offers, I called and one was brought to the room for me.
