How flat are the running trails around Bay Lake?

I'm a roller derby girl and was hoping to get some outdoor skate time during our upcoming 2 week Disney Vacay...is the running trail by Bay Lake smooth enough for skating? And if not, which resort has the smoothest trail (preferably blacktop and not paved brick)? Thanks in advance for your help!

Sorry, skating isn't allowed on the walkways and roads at WDW. I'm pretty sure that there are rinks in the Orlando that you could use if you need to get in some practice. If you won't have a car during your stay, cabs are readily available at your resort.

Post 2 of this thread http://wwww.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3049229 shows the resort map that states "Florida Law does not allow inline skating or scooters......"

Hmmmm...I skate on quad skates. I'm sure they are probably a no-no, too but interesting that is states only in line skates.

Extremely dated info but this link says you can 4 wheel skate at Fort Wilderness-or atleast you could in 2007.

So you might want to look into a trip to Fort Wilderness (Boat ride from Cont) if you need to skate. I would double check before hand that it is still ok.

That's only because most people only have inline skates. Skates are skates.
