I see Universal opens at 8 AM on Saturday Dec 18. We have already decided we will wait until about 8 PM at night to do Potter's Wizarding World when things have died down. Do we still need to get there at opening to avoid long lines for the popular Marvel Rides? Or do most people go to Potter than move to Marvel so Marvel doesn't start getting long lines until later in the morning 10 or 11?
Getting up at 6:30-7 to get ready to be to the park by 8 (staying about 10 min away) is pretty harsh for on vacation (especially considering it will be 3 hours earlier West Coast time where we are from.) But we've done it before to avoid the lines. Was hoping we could just go later and stay until closing and still avoid the lines.
Of course I imagine if it is like Disneyland most the local crowd (especially the teeny boppers) does just that -- wakes up later and stays until closing.
