How fast do FP+ times fill up once you can select them?

I don't usually make our FP selections until a week or 2 before our trip. I've been able to get everything we want at reasonable times and have had a little success even changing the day of for some things.

I don't want to be a downer, but how does a screenshot 'prove' I should have the FP? Couldn't I make the reservation, take the screenshot and then change it? If I then used the screenshot to access the FP I cancelled, wouldn't that effectively give me an extra FP? For this reason, I can't see Disney honoring a screenshot.

The system is so glitchy that Disney actually IS honoring the screenshot in many cases. I don't see this lasting long though for the reason you stated.

That lack of transparency is what frustrates me most about this system. There seems to be a lot of "tricks" involved to get what you want. (knowing when parade Fps are released, knowing to book A/E for one party member then copying it over to others, knowing to change the time of your FP before changing what it's for to get different options) While that all benefits me because I know where to find the inside information, it's just nutty. And I like for things to make sense. Who knows now when you log on and find that you can't get what you're looking for if there's some "secret handshake" you are forgetting to use. Or if it's yet another glitch. Or if you really are just out of luck.

Wow!!! I was stressed enough about this whole new fast pass system, but now reading all the insiders "tricks"... I am feeling lost!! Anyone willing to fill me in on the A/E for one party member and copying it over, and how to change the time of the FP before changing what it's for and the other "secrets" of obtaining fast passes!! We are a family of 6, so it is going to be tougher for us then a smaller family...any tricks of the trade would be much appreciated!!!

I got 1 FP+ for A&E, but it wouldn't let me copy it. Said that it wasn't available for the rest & offered replacements.

I got Frozen M&G tonight for 3. Our 60 day window opened and first available was on day 7. I got 9:10am. All the previous days were on stand by. I hope more will open up for others but it is definitely booking up quickly.
