We are taking a kind of last-minute weekend trip down on 9/11.
We are primarily planning to do Universal parks this trip and are staying at RPR, but we thought that we might try to use a leftover Hopper day to go over to Epcot after we get in, ride TT and MS, and eat dinner. We would be arriving around 4 if we do this.
My concern is that if the FP for MS are all gone by early afternoon, the standby lines in the evening are going to be horrendous, and might even be roped off for capacity before closing. We are not worrying about TT, because we have breakdown passes that we got on the last day of our last trip, so we can walk right on @ TT, presuming that it is running, of course! DH would really like to get inside MS, so we're open to the "ride during Illuminations" strategy if that is viable.
So ... does anyone have any observations on how FP capacity seems to be going on MS? How hard is it to get on the ride in the late afternoon/early evening hours?
