do you travel with your camper to get to Fort Wilderness? What kind of camper do you have?

We will be just under 1000 miles each way, towing a pop up. For us it is way cheaper to drive and camp than to stay at a resort.

Normally, 1002 miles each way with a popup. This trip, 0!

(We're renting Tina's 5th wheel! :thumbsup2 So I get to try out having my kids in a bunkhouse trailer and none of them have to share beds or sleep on the sofa. And I don't risk having to fold up a wet popup tent trailer in August and not be able to dry it out for almost a week until we get home. :scared: )

We travel about 150 miles one way from North Port to WDW. We have a Fleetwood Pioneer travel trailer hauled by a Chevy Suburban.

It's about 1250 miles for us. We pull a Coleman Caravan trailer with our Durango. 27 days to go!

2000 miles round trip 35' toy hauler.

We travel 1010 miles per map quest one way. '02 Coachman Santara 31ft MH. But we are thinking of trading in for a toy hauler and trading the conversion van in on a Suburban!

690 miles one way

See signature for Rig and TV

Will be 200 miles each way in an old 85 Fleetwood Jamboree (Class C). We took it to VA this summer, 1000 miles each way and decided that our little old RV was better for short distances ;)

We're going to the Fort for the first time in 2 weeks.

2,220 round trip. Jayco 37' 5er. Single axle Ford semi for tow.

2,220 miles divided by 7mpg = 317 gals x $4.59(diesel)= $1,455.03:scared1:

We have a 33' jayco jayflight TT, tow it with 2000 ford excursion, 1000mi one way, will be our first trip arriving july 27th!

2,400 miles round trip, we have an Itasca Spirit, we also did the same trip towing our pop-up.

1,200 miles each way, pulling a Viking pop-up with our mini-van.

Next Ft Wilderness stay is March 2009 for two weeks.

I can't remember the exact number but I know it's just under 900 miles one way. We pull an '06 Fleetwood Wilderness TT with an '04 Excursion.

We leave for our Disney cruise in 12 days then it's a week at The Fort. :cool1:  :yay:

94 Fleetwood Bounder 31' Hate to tell all of you but we are 60 miles each way. Boy if I had to drive as far as some you do. I don't think I would be going 4-5 times per year. Gas just too dang expensive now. I have even heard that the Ft. prices are going up in 09. So add all that and it is an expensive trip.

Just my 2 cents
