How Far to Serenity Bay?

How long does it take to get from the boat to Serenity Bay and from the kids area at CC to Serenity Bay? Suggestions for foot vs the tram welcome. We're trying to plan what I think will be a very full day that I expect will seem too short to end at 3:30.

We walked the 1st time & wished we had taken the tram! It is a nice walk but a good portion of it is down the "runway" that is asphalt & in the sun, doesn't take long for it to get HOT!

It is a 7 mile stretch! Take the tram. The ride is about 10-15 mins and they run frequently. Once you get down there you can rent your tubes or floats (we didn't realize this and carried ours on the tram). You can also have lunch right there. No need to leave for anything. They bring drinks to you right on the beach. There are many umbrellas and lounges, just you might want to arrive early to stake one out near the area where restrooms and food are located. We like to be farther away, depends on how much you like to walk.

The island is only 3.1 miles long X 2.2 miles wide.

It can take awhile to get there.

5-10 minutes to walk from the ship to the first tram stop.
5 minutes to wait for the tram.
3-5 minute ride on the tram.
5-10 minutes to walk from the first tram to the second tram.
5 minutes to wait for the second tram.
3-5 minute ride on the second tram.

It adds up and is frustrating if you're in a hurry, trying to make your massage appointment at Serenity Bay.
