how far to boardwalk from SSR?

How would I get from SSR to Boardwalk for dinner, and how long would it take without my own car?

If you walked over to DTD, you could catch a resort bus over to the Boardwalk. Then to return, you could catch a bus from the Boardwalk over to DTD. If you didn't want to walk, you would need to take a bus from SSR to and from DTD.

If you only took one bus, you might make it in 30 minutes.

Thanks, Deb. That helps with my decision for our first night at SSR... I think it will be too much to go there. We might head over to Boardwalk and eat at ESPN club on a day that we do Epcot... that is short walk, right? We could go over early evening for dinner, and head back to Epcot for Illuminations.

So that still leaves me with what to do for dinner the first night at SSR. Group of 10 adults. My dad likes low-key places - nothing to fancy or expensive, just something fun. Any ideas?

How about House of Blues over at DTD West Side? It's got some pretty good food, plus some good music. Especially if it's a group of adults.
