how far out to rent van??

We will be arrivng at MCO on Aug. 22nd and will need a mini van for 1 week. When would be a good time to reserve one??? i am looking for a good rate and dont know if they come out closer to date or late??? I also want ot rent one at the airport and not to have to take a shuttle. Thanks

Book now when you see a decent rate.
the fact is you can book as many as you want and there is no charge to cancel.Its very easy to cancel and rebook (I have 4 bookings on the go right now....thats because the prices have dropped steadily from the first booking to the last. I will be cancelling the other 3 shortly.)

My dates are similar, Aug 20-27 for me. I already have a minivan booked with Alamo, for $197/week base rate. Total, after coupon and with all taxes and fees is $220. Thats pretty good. I am hoping National comes down, I prefer them, but will settle for Alamo and this rate. I used the Costco coupon, from their website, and yes I am also a Costco member. Contract ID# 675899 and coupon DU3B. Coupon available by going to Costco website, travel,Alamo, and you see a few coupons, this one is $25 for SUV or minivan weekly rental.

I have no clue if you need to show a costco ID to use these codes, I will bring mine, so thats not a concern for me.
