We are leaving in 4 months and still dont have airfare.

Should i be worried??

I have noticed that Continental and America West have finally lowered their fares, and that SWA calendar covers our dates now-I will never fly SWA though!

Airfare was hovering around 400 RT from Phoenix, AZ, but Cont is down to about 212, and AWA wants 270-and thats on a non stop! If we return the next day instead on a tuesday, it drops to 206 RT, big savings, but then we need 2 more rooms for 1 extra night, about 262 more and would have to leave by 7 am that day since our passes would be expired since we have 10 day passes for everyone but me-i have a premium annual pass.

I really want to fly on delta though. I have 18,000 FF miles so far so im getting close to the 25000 mark. We also received 2-$125 travel vouchers as to use on them, but they still want right over $400 RT, and thats for either day, return on monday or tuesday.

Should i wait it out for delta and hope they come down, or go with america west?? Is it too soon to panic??

My thoughts are that if everyone else is lower and DL has not "price matched" then you may not get lucky. But who knows... they could offer a sale tomorrow. On the other hand as SW sells tickets then CO and AW will probably go back up. THey probably went down since SW went on sale.
