How far out do they post AP rates?

I was told by a CM yesterday that the AP rates for August and September should be out by May.

I guess now it goes by the due dates of your package balance? Thats what I gathered from speaking to her.

She was very nice.
:goodvibes

Well if that is the case June should be out any day now. The current AP rates end on June 2nd. 45 days out from June 3rd is April 19. Which also happens to be my 45 day.

If they come out after that I know for sure this will be my last AP. I will have to pay the change fee if I apply an AP rate to my package. With that and them sending out special AP pins to some AP holder will seal the deal for me.

They are doing discounts so differently this year, we really can't count on the historical release dates. I'm going on the Passholder site every morning now before work to check.
I have booked BC (late Aug) with the 35% GP that was out awhile ago and added DDP, so I have something anyway. If & when AP comes out, I can drop the park ticket.

I am starting to feel like a stalker. Stalking the Passholder site and this board!!! It's almost pathetic. Sigh

That's good news. If my ressie starts in September and ends in October, do I get the AP rate for the whole stay or do I still need to wait for the October rates to be released? Also, are AP rates good for room-only or can I use them for my room plus dining plan ressies?

Sorry for all the questions. When I asked a CM on the booking line, she had no idea and no one else could answer either. DISers are sooooo much more knowledgeable. :goodvibes

This is exactly my situation. We check in on June 2nd, the last day of the current rate. When I called to see if I could get the rate for the entire trip, the CM (Who thought we could do it) plugged in the dates. No luck. She said it only came up for the first night.

Who knows if there would still be a rate available for the first night, if I wait for the second rate? And I didn't want to make two separate ressies.

Generally, AP rates are room-only discounts rather than package discounts, so they're applied night by night. You don't get them for length of stay if your stay goes beyond the discount period.

Even though it's room-only, you can still add and pay for the dining plan. "Room-only" is used to indicate to people that even if they book a package, they are getting the discount on the room portion only; dining plan is still full rate.

We're in the same boat, checking in on June 1. I'll cross fingers for you as well that the AP rates are released soon!

I had to modify my reservation today and was told by the CM that summer AP rates should be released in May.
