How far out can I get barrowed points?

I currently have forty three 2007 points which will be banked at the end of the month. I have barrowed all but ten of my 2008 points. If I wish to use my banked 2007 points for a stay in January 2009 (end of my 2008 UY) can I barrow 2009 points (2008 are already gone) for that stay and if so, can I barrow them at the eleven month window for the January 2009 reservation?

You can borrow 2009 points for a stay during your 2008 use year. As long as you are within the appropriate booking windows (7/11) for reservations, you should be fine.

I think you have a February UY. If so, you can borrow from your '09 points for the stay in January '09 and use the rest of the banked '07 points for that stay as well. You can make that ressie 11 months out at your home resort.

Can I add onto this question I have a Dec UY- I am looking to do an October 08 trip to BCV. I have 300 pts but only 50 are BCV. I have no 07 BCV points but 50 '08 and 50 '09. I am looking to book a 2 BR for the end of 10/08 and am hoping to book three of my 5 nights using my BCV points during the 11 month window and then add the last two days (Friday and Saturday) at the 7 month.

Can I borrow my 09 points for this trip? I think I cannot because I will still be in my 07 UY but thought I would check.

Slakk, I think you are right! I wrote it down on paper, and as you said, you'll be in your '07 UY and so you can't borrow your '09 points!

December Use Years can be confusing. Your Dec'09 points may be borrowed for a trip between December 1, 2008 and November 30, 2009. As already noted, a trip in October, 2008 falls in your 2007 Use Year - so your options for using points are banked 2006 UY , current 2007 UY and/or borrowed 2008 UY points.

Dec UY worked the first 3 years when we traveled in January but dang this is going to suck now that we are switching to October LOL! Thank you for the affirmation that I *get* my points!
