I wondering how far the walk is from the lobby at Jambo to the pool area at Kidani?

We stayed at BCV last year and walked from there to the kids/beach area of the pool almost daily (through BC lobby and all the way around to YC side then enter). Comparable or much farther? Trying to get an idea!

Comparable, maybe a little father. We walked from Kidani to Jambo several times throughout our stay. It did not seem that far to me, even after being at the parks all day.

Good to know! It's hard to tell by comments as some think it's far and others not so much.

We were thinking if we stay AKL next trip to do Jambo but then walk over to Kidani to use the pool but I wasn't sure how much of a pain that would be (would like to try out bother pools since DS will be 4)!

Probably about 15 minutes give or take depending on your pace.

Also, Bell Services runs a van between the main entrance of both buildings.

The buses headed to Downtown Disney stop at Jambo House, Kidani Village and then DTD.
The Theme Park buses stop at Kidani Village, Jambo House and then the theme park.

It's an easy, fun walk. Usually takes dh and I 5-10 minutes, with grandkids a little longer but still very doable.

4 is a great age to use the Kidani Splash Area and pool. Our grandsons were 3 the last time we took them and the Kidani Pool area was their favorite part of the whole trip. :)

The walk is about ten minutes give or take a few. We used the free shuttle out front, and that was easy to do too. There wasn't ever a wait.

Thanks everyone! I was thinking if we would be swimming I wouldn't want to hop in a shuttle or bus all wet :)

Stayed at Jambo house and took my 4 year old son to kidani pool and kids water play area. He absolutely loved it! He keeps telling me, "daddy, we need to stay at kidani next time we go to disneyworld." We walked back and forth, liked others have said, took about 10 minutes.

Not everyone is as smart you. We've gone and pool people had jumped in.....wet seats..... Can you imagine perhaps someone gets dressed up for one of the restaurants and gets off bus with a wet butt? The CM did have some towels in the front, but I guess they don't catch every wet swim suit.

I have no problem with pool people using the van, just protect the seat for the next rider please.
