How far is McDonalds from AKL?

We will be driving from AKL to the parks everyday and wanted to know if there was a McDonalds on the way for breakfast?

I don't know how far it is mileage wise but there is a McDonalds close to the entrance of the Disney All Star resorts. The All Star resorts are near AK and AKL so it should be easy to get to.

Noticed it last June when driving to AKL, it was really close. However, you might find that the breakfast prices at Mara are not that much more then McD's and probably pretty time saving.

To get to the parks from the AKL you have to go on the Osceola Parkway. The McDonalds is right near the exit off the parkway for All Stars and Blizzard Beach.

I read the results of a recent study where a researcher doing studies on diet ate only McDonalds for 30 days. B'fast, lunch & dinner. He didn't eat to extremes, just the same amount he would eat everyday, except that he only ate at McDonalds. After thirty days he gained nearly 35 pounds!!! That shows me that even one meal at this 'fat palace' is just too much...But there is one very near by just off of Osceola (at the exit to Blizzard Beach).

I concur with a previous poster that said the prices at Mara are close! They might even be less expensive! Remember, this isn't a McDonald's in your hometown, it is, for all practical purposes, a Disney McDonalds! We were in DTD our last day doing some shopping and decided to drop in for some lunch. The bill came to over 27.00 just for four value meals! ACK! *and no, they weren't supersized!

We went off site once during our POFQ trip to buy DS new shoes *the shoes he brought with him literally melted apart at MGM* We decided to pop through the drive through near the crossings for breakfast thinking it would be cheaper than the POFQ food court. It was not only more expensive, but we've sworn since that visit to never leave Disney property since the experience was horrible! People were angry, the workers were rude, it just wasn't a good meal at all. The new shoes did work out, so not all was lost!
