How far is Clermont?

Has anyone ever stayed in a house in Sunrise Lakes in Clermont? If so, how far is it (really) to Disney property? It's our first Disney trip and I'm worried we'll be too far. The house is beautiful and a great price...Thank you for any input!

About 20 miles from DW. Maybe 30 minutes if the traffic's good.

I prefer to stay on site but my Mom stays in Davenport, also on US 27, which is about 15-20 minutes away.

When are you going and how many days are you doing at Disney?

The last two times we traveled through Clermont there was a whole lot of road construction going on. It took us forever to get to WDW! You might want to check the Florida State Hwy Department website. They have a list of road construction projects.

Sunrise Lakes is under 10 miles from WDW, and takes 15 minutes or so depending on traffic to the AK. The construction in south Clermont is complete and getting through that area now is fast and easy.

There is a super Wal-Mart a mile down the road (if that) and plenty of other services including pharmacies and a medimerge type of place within a mile.
