How far in advance...

do the Disney hotels book up? We are going mid to end of April next year and the airlines I am looking at don't even have flights available for probably a few months. I hate to book a hotel if we don't even have a flight booked, becuase what if we had to switch an arrival date.

I can just see that a lot of people are booking that far in advance and this will be the first time planning myself (haven't been since 13!)

We are thinking POFQ.

Thanks!

Normally, I'd say don't worry too much until within 6 months of travel. But you're going right in the middle of Spring Break season for schools. I'd book that ASAP. Worry about the flight later.

I would always book for the week you want to go, and where you want to go. If you booked according to airline schedules for cheap fares, you'd have to go down on a Tuesday and get back on a Tuesday, or something like that, that would be inconvenient if you have a weekday type of job. Besides, SWA often doesn't offer it's cheapest fares for flights until within a couple of months of the flight.

You will see a lot of good advice in her for planning. You can go ahead and book now, and still do the bulk of your planning with advice on here.
