I don't want to book too far since schedules change so much. We are talking about going on a 7 day (didn't even discuss if it will be Eastern or Western) in Winter 2007. I want to get the 6:30 seating for dinner. How far would you book to insure this. Thanks! Bekah

I think it all depends on the time of year and how full the ship is. If it is not full, you probably can change to an early seating (even if they give you a late seating) the first day of the cruise. But if it is during Christmas, Spring Break, etc, you better book sooner than later if you want an early seating for sure.

Most people seem to begin to book about a year in advance.

I would book when your dates come out. Early seating goes incredibly quickly.... We booked last week for September (rather late), but we are not even sure if we are going.. :confused3 I saw a great rate on DU, and booked it with a deposit for our family of 4, and we will just cancel (in time) if we can not make it.... Hopefully not..

If you can, then I would book whenever the dates are available, for you dinner seating, and for your prices to be the best...

Just my two cents.. :) :)
