How far in advance do you need to call & reserve a tour in order to secure a space? DH and I are going for our anniversary trip Feb 6th-11th and want to do the Backstage Magic tour. When should I call and book?

We're going 1/25 - 2/1 and booked the Steam Train tour and Keys to the Kingdom tour in late October. The Steam Train tour seemed wide open, but my preferred date/time for Keys to the Kingdom was already booked up! Might have just been bad luck, but I'd call and book as soon as you can.

180 days, or whenever you decide on what you want. Some do book up.

Don't forget the discounts...AP, DVC and Disney Visa and sometimes AAA all 15%.

Thanks. I will call tomorrow then. We JUST booked the trip. Kind of a last minute decision.

Luckily, we were able to get all the ADR's we wanted since we aren't taking kids and can be flexible on the times...so hopefully we can still get a tour :-)

ONe more thing...do you have to pay in full when booking, or just put a credit card on file and then they charge it when you get there?

I paid in full at the time of my call. They do read the fine print to you regarding cancellations, showing up on time, etc. Hope you're able to get what you're looking for!
