How far in advance for MVMCP DVC discount?

We will go to one of the first 2 shows in Nov. Since these early ones are not usually as well attended, I am not worried about them selling out. I would prefer to wait until the day before we go to purchase them. Will that be too late to get the discount? I think that I remember reading somewhere that even one day ahead is okay???

If I remember correctly - there are only certain dates that the discount is available.

WE just got back a few weeks ago. We purchased the tickets for the Not-so-Scary Halloween Party the day before. I called MS from the Magic Kingdom and picked them up at will call. You have to be sure that the day you want is a DVC discount day. I have not seen the list of days yet. Good luck.

e-mailing may not be as good for reservations, but I prefer asking questions like that. It saves time for me, and for MS!

We almost weren't going to MVMCP this year...but decided to do it, we too picked a DVC discount one! That was my "problem" last year it cost us nearly $100 for the 2 tickets, and well, I just didn't think it was worth that much, so this year, it seems like a bargain.

As I recall in 2006, the first November date was a Friday and it was sold out. We have friends that went that night. Don't count on early dates being available. WDW started even earlier this year, I'm guessing because of the 06 sell out.
