Is 5 months too far ahead? Price ok right now but would scream if if went lower....but what if it didn't. Advice???

Get out the dice.

If you do not book and the price goes up you will scream as well.

If it is as low as what you have seen in the past then chances are it will not go much lower.

Bost on to FL is currently $400-450 for when I want to go so we are taking the train, if the price was $200-250 like it ususally is we would have grabbed it.

glad I did!! I took the advice from people here, don't wait too long about making a decision. If flight times are important to you,and you see fares that you can live with,go for it!!

Well, I tend to be on the anal side when it comes to planning, lol, but next week we will be at the 330 day mark for our return date so I intend to start searching regularly then. Of course, we are going Christmas time so I'm concerned about the cost but moreso about the flights selling out fast. I'll also be keeping track of Amtrak prices just in case. The cost of flying/renting a car is about the same as the autotrain. Planning for a Disney trip is practically a fulltime job!! But I do love it, lol.

I'm considering booking now for our November cruise. When we went to WDW Thanksgiving of 2002, I booked shortly after the 330 day mark and I was glad I did. Even though there were airfare sales and Southwest opened up their schedule, I was never able to get a better deal.

Thank everyone. I am going to just do it. I will rest easier knowing I got the times I wanted at a ok price.:cool1:

I say "book em"! We just got the TMA rates for June departure and July return and I've selected our seats yesterday.
So what if the prices change somewhat...I want to GET THERE !!

I just booked my air this morning. Decided to travel a little farther and fly from BWI again on USAir. Total for the four of us is $751. Not a great price, but since we're leaving to fly down on Thanksgiving day, I didn't want to take the chance I'd be paying $225+ per person.

Hope you can book what you're looking for!

I wish I could pay less than a thousand but now I am looking at $1071 for 4 out of San Jose with one stop in Dallas. Oh well. We will have 8 days in Orlando:jumping1:

IandGsmom,
Have you tried different airports nearby and mixing up where you take off from and return to? When we did that, we saved about $20 a ticket!:wave2:

I did try San Francisco and Oakland and they are cheaper but the drive is a pain especially in traffic. San Jose airport would rake me about 15 mins. door to door. I'm lazy sometimes.;)
