How Far In Advance Do You Renew Your Annual Pass?

I am just wondering...Mine expires July 3rd...We head back down July 6th...Plan to renew a few days before...

You can renew on-site also. You have 30 days before and after the expiration date on the back of your pass to renew. Renewing prior to your trip will not save you any time. You will still need to go to a guest relations location to exchange for your new AP.

Sometimes the prices are expected to go up, and so keep an eye on the Disboards. I've renewed on line a few times, so that I got the old price rather than the new one. This only worked when we had a summer renewal because it seemed to me that the prices were going up during or just before the summer. Now, that the annual passes renewed for 15 months, we have a fall renewal, so I think I'm out of that time period.

call - know you can renew after your expiry day - but to get the extra months think it needs to be before. Not sure.

We have done both ways. As another poster mentioned, just keep a watch closely on the DIS as the prices can shoot up at anytime.

I have never renewed a pass. We go in late July one year followed by early July the next year--they expire just when we are leaving. I don't buy a new pass until the next summer. 2-3 vacations per PAP then a year before I buy the next one.

go more often but yea would not have renewed in March - except for the new offer it now does to June.

so my May trip next year will be free. of course since I am moving to florida - it will get used more than before.

My pass runs out 8/16 and historically the prices go up early August. I'd like to do mine online again, but have a 5 day base ticket to upgrade from. Can I call and do it on the phone or upgrade online? Or will I be *forced* to make a trip down in July to get it taken care of? LOL

Ticket upgrades can only be done in person.
