We are hoping to take a trip to see the mouse in summer 2007 when the boys will be 2 and 4 (now 2 1/2 and 6 months). How soon do you start planning??

Our next trip is planned for Aug. 07. I didn't make ressies yet, but we're pretty sure of where we're staying and I'm already bouncing around ARDs in my head. It's never too soon to start planning for a Disney trip!

One thing to remember is that Disney is always changing things (like the rumors of a boy's themed character meal and a fairy meal) so nothing can be set in stone until closer to our trip dates.

I *think* (but I'm not sure) that Epcot will be having an anniversary in 07, so maybe Epcot will have some special decorations and events. And, maybe the new Soarin ride will be in place by then, too.

Define planning. It varies for us.

Our next trip is Dec 2006. Started deciding what we were going to do, where to stay March 2005. Didn't make ant ressie's till this month. We are also picking exact dates and thinking of where we want to stay for Oct. 2007 trip. In the past, we have done it in less time. We decided to do our May 2005 trip in Feb. 2005--found out I was pregnant and would be due the week we planned on returning. Started our Sept 2004 trip in August 2004.

We go every year for 10 days, so we buy APs and do two trips on the same pass. So we need to know how we are tentatively going to take the trips.

I start planning as soon as the idea comes to me. But as far as ressies, plane tickets, car, etc I do all that between 6 and 11 months ahead.
