I'm loosely planning a trip next december, but there's a lot of variables (vacation time, Swolphin codes, etc.) However. I'm debating if I should make a reservation with loose dates to cover my butt or not. What's your plan of attack?

When in December are you traveling? The last week of December (the week between Christmas and New Year's) books up quickly, but the rest of the month is fairly easy to book. If you can plan at least 6 months in advance, you should have no problems.

I was wondering the same thing. I am planning on going the second week in Dec but staying at a value resort. I am trying to avoid the pop warner craziness :cheer2:

princess: We try to always plan at the very least 6 mos in advance. For several reasons.
Because I'm obsessive and need to know the plan.
Because I want to make sure to have the room/lodging of my choice.
Because It's Disney and doesn't everyone want to go????
Have a good trip! :sunny:

Believe it or not, I made inquires about POR for the first week of December 2007 with the AAA discount - and it was NOT available! I would advise anyone looking for an AAA discount at any hotel that might have Pop Warner teams staying there to book ASAP.

Good to know. :thumbsup2

I'm a super planner and I actually planned this upcoming trip 8 months in advance. 6 more to go!!

The most I've ever booked in advance is 5 months. That was our last trip. Booked in April for Sept. (for free DDP) :thumbsup2 The main reason I don't book too far in advance is I hate to wait so long for the trip to get here. The shortest time I've booked was, I think, under 2 weeks! That was a spur of the moment trip in January 05.

The hardest time I've had booking was the trip we took in June 1999. I started booking it about 6-8 weeks in advance. I had a problem getting rooms at ASSp for our entire trip. I made daily phone calls to book. At one point I had our room for the first days and the last days with a 2 day gap in between! Luckily, about 2 weeks before we left, those final days became available. :goodvibes

I booked CBR for Dec. 23-29th in August, I did get my plane tickets in March though, as the price was right.
