I booked our October 2006 trip last July. I can't wait to start making my ADR's. I think the soonest I can book will be around May for CRT. Planning it all is my favorite part!
We went to WDW in mid-December - I had booked the trip in May 2005. I am planning our next trip for late Sept./early Oct. 2006 and will probably book in the next week or so!
I booked our cruise in March of 2005 for August of 2006. I book our DL trip in Sept 2005 for July 2006. I would have booked it earlier but I needed to get confirmation as to when the kids' karate tournament would be held.
I booked my November trip in Feb. I got a better rate on airline tickets and wanted to be sure I got a room where I wanted (Beach Club Villas). I think the more you do ahead of time, the better. It is fun to plan the ADR- Don't forget if you don't get into Cindy's breakfast- Try the lunch. It is a Cindy Character lunch now. We did the lunch, and liked it better than the breakfast! Cindy was in the room when we arrived- Then, during the lunch there were, Mary Poppins, Belle, & Snow White. It was really an enjoyable meal. We also LOVED 1900 Park Fare at the GF! I planned 14 different meals, a lot of Character meals and then some fun things like Sci- Fi and the Spirit of Aloha. Lots of fun! Hope you have a great trip
Honeymoon- 1987- Off Site
Yacht Club- 2003
Beach Club Villas- Nov. 2005

I think I read that I can book 500 days out? In Feb, when I get my income tax$, I plan on reserving my dates for ASMO, and giving $1000 down, if they let me book my whole pkg early (tix& dining). That will be a load off my mind. So far, I have also started to save for my mousekeeping envelopes. ($5 eachX 8nights)
Book your trip as far in advance as you can (when you know that you have the vacation approved, etc.) Then make dining reservations, etc. at the earliest opportunity you have. You'll thank yourself for the pre-planning. We're going down January 26, and made almost all the reservations in September. 26 more days!! Whoopee!
For our big family trip in December we usually plan it several months in advance. For our summer trip we start planning around February. DH goes to Orlando for business three or four times a year and the whole family comes along and stays at Disney. Those trips are usually planned a couple of weeks in advance.
I booked my trip for Dec. 06' this past October! LOL! I wanted to make sure that I and the rest of the people going could get it paid off completely before we went to make sure we didn't have that issue in our minds when it came to $$!
