How far in advance can you pack?

Everything but maybe just a little bit of clothing is packed at least a few weeks ahead of time. I actually have a tote that I keep packed and ready to go. :thumbsup2 That way I don't have to worry about forgotten items either.

Does anyone else bring back old souvenirs? We do this alot. Especially with the kids. They have tons of WDW stuff that I pull out just before the trip and it feels all new. We get something new every time, but not 10 things new. We look like we just spent $300 in souvenirs, the truth is this is 7 trips worth of stuff and some was bought at the outlet super cheap. Toys, hats, Minnie ears, light spinners, autograph books (sometimes we need new every few trips.) Penny pressing books (with pennies.) I think I have enough WDW T Shirts to dress all week in them (for every member of the family.) Also having 2 girls the youngest has a whole line of Disney Princess outfits I just have to pull out of plastic containers in the basement. (and grows super slow so they last a while.)

Yes, we do too! Everything hats, ears, shirts, pens, passport for Epcot ... we only have done 2 countries each trip or so. Spinners, pins to trade.

I'm a month before kind of girl! I'm packing for 4 now. DH cannot pack himself. If I die he will have his daughters to do it. :teeth:

We have only Disney items, A back pack from the gap that is Cotton for DH to carry, my bellypack.

The cloths are the reason I need a month to pack. We have been going a week after school ends. So I can start seeing what I have & need for the girls. Then I have time to shop.

Others here have heard this already but since you asked I'll tell you free of charge how to pack in 5 minutes without using a whole set of luggage that you won on Wheel of Fortune:

Staying 5 days or less: One of every essential for each day + 1

Staying 5 to 10 days: One of every essential for each day + 2

Staying more than 10 days: That's not vacation. That's called moving in which case you take everything.

DVC member staying in a Villa with a washing machine: What's packing?

You're welcome! :p

I have a Continually Packed Suitcase, from Nov/Dec and Feb-May. I just take out the sweaters and add Shorts! :thumbsup2 I also have my supplies in a box ready to be shipped out 4 days before. :thumbsup2 Now, if I can ONLY remember whats IN the box...... :rolleyes1

Lou you pack like I do. The only problem is we have on the same thing in half our pictures (and the other outfit in the other half).

I pack at LEAST 2 hours before we leave. Well I start by then anyhow.

Sometimes if I am feeling like I need to be all organized I pack a whole day in advance. :rotfl:
