How far in advance can you book your trip?

I book through WDW website or I call. How far in advance can i book a trip? Right now, I see the calendar shows until Dec 2017. Will it gradually increase a month as each month passes?

499 days by phone. Room only, no package. 2018 dates will be released all at once, likely spring/summer 2017

Once 2018 is 499 days out, they will let you book room-only, but you will be quoted the highest rate of 2017 for your dates, no matter what they are. They will be adjusted once 2018 rates are released.

Hmm. So are you saying that I can book 499 days before Jan 1, 2018? I know where I want to stay and will know what room/view I want, and price won't determine my choice. Just want to book as soon as I can.
