How far in advance can I borrow points?

Because we are taking two trips to WDW, {Dec. and May.} both times with two bedroom units, we had to borrow all of 2005 points. Our son unexpectedly announced he and his girlfriend would like to go along, so we were thrilled to do it. Now here is my question. We have an August use year, but We will be receiving no points in Aug. 2005, since they are all borrowed. But we would like to go back next December also. Must We wait until August of 2005 to borrow our 2006 points, at which time it would be unrealistic to think we would get a room, or since a December trip would be in our next use year, could we still book it at eleven months? We would actually then be borrowing 2006 points in Jan. of 2005. Is this possible? I hope I explained this clearly, since its a little confusing to me. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, that's fine, you can book your vacation in January. Borrowing takes place at the time the reservation is made and has no bearing on your use year, with the exception on that you have to be borrowing correctly. Since a December 2005 trip will take place during your 2005 use year, you can borrow 2006 points for the trip.
