I want to book a vacation for early Nov. 2006.
I know I need to wait until the '06 rates are released (this June??) first so I can get an accurate quote. But from that point is there a certain number of days out that you can book a ressie?

Thanks for your help :flower:

I think that you can book about 500 or so days in advance. I made our April 2006 reservations last month, will worry about the final rate once they are out. The deposit I was charged was based on this years rates.

I booked in Oct 2000 for December 2002. Of course they didn't have rates but I knew we were staying at ASMo regardless so the rate didn't matter.

the rules have changed recently. You used to be able to make a reservation almost as far into the future as you wanted. Things have changed and there is now a cutoff.

You can book 2006 (not sure how late in 2006)--but they will charge you the "rack rate". When the codes are loaded it will revert to the correct season.

You can always do the courtesy booking--and then you have a little bit of time to come up with the first night's rate for a deposit.

I was pretty amazed that Disney allowed bookings so far in advance I have never been able to make a resevation for room more then 364 days in advance other then disney.

We are booked in for the Swan for 07/07/06 for 1 night before our cruise.

The rest of our gang booked their grand gathering at BWI for 07/05/06 -> 07/07/06 in January of 2005.

The 2006 rates are out. I got a new confrimation from WDW with the new rates. I booked POR a few months ago. They told me they would adjust the ressies when the new rates came out. Yesterday in the mail I got a new/updated letter with the new rates. I was first quoted $146.00 a night. The new rates or $175.oo plus tax. Now I'm really hoping for a code. :earsgirl:

They aren't out for BWI, WL, YC, BC or any other deluxes yet. Just the values and mods.

I called Disney on Sunday for a ressie. I am planning on going early Nov. 2006. She said I could booked the room but could not get the tickets yet. Didn't ask about the rates. I didn't book it after all because someone told the celebration ran through Nov. 2006 but she said it ended Sept. 30 2006. So now I have to think about when I want to go. Would I really be missing that much if I am not there during the Celebration?
