How far in advance can I book?

Hi Everyone

I was wondering if anyone knows how soon I can contact Disney to book my wedding? I have seen some people saying 8 months but others say 18 months.

I will be having a wishes wedding with 40+ people travelling from the UK. Hopefully we want 6th May 2010.

congrats from another uk bride, we contacted disney around 19 months out and at 18 months we were pencilled in and got to talk to a coordinator who walked us through the booking process.

then our venues were pavillion and ariels so both could be contracted at 12 months, conventure centre space can only be contracted at 8 months but anything in park can be done at 12 months.

we got told about a day after our 12 months we got all our first choices and then a contract was emailed to us. we then changed venues after our 8 month mark to the whitehall room

it does all depend on who you talk to as well, we called several times and was told no its 12 months but be persistant and it pays off.

Hey KT!

Congratulations... me and DF are hoping for May 26th 2010 so i am counting down until November too!

I spoke to Disney and they said i can contact them 18 months prior... i tried to book a site visit as DF and I are holidaying in Florida in Oct this year but as that is 19 months out they couldnt officially plan a site visit for us but we're gonna have a nose around anyway!

How exciting that there is another May 2010 bride on here! And from the UK too!
