How far in advance are MK EMM dates released?

I will be going the first week of May 2018 so not a holiday time. I couldn't find anywhere if EMM was offered that same week this past May...not that it would be a guarantee for next May.

So how far in advance are these dates made available for purchase? I'm hoping it's before my 60-day FP mark so that I can plan different for FP if we are not doing EMM.

I would think it's normally more than 60 days. For this August we booked EMM many months ago. I don't know when (or if) they will be released but it would be plenty far in advance I would predict.

Completely inconsistent.
Disney has become highly unreliable in "advance notification" of anything.

If I sound bitter, its because I've watched these things change over time from
"highly reliable" to "less than adequate."

I'm finding this to be really frustrating as a mega-planner - like most people here.
