How far from Disney to MCO?

How far is it from the parks to the airport? Specifically, MCO. Jetblue has FINALLY released their flights for January and I need to know how long it will take us to get to the airport from the parks. We want to schedule a character breakfast the morning we leave and I need to know if I can book the 11:45 flight home or I need to wait and book the 3:10 flight (which my dh really doesn't want). Thanks so much!!!!

Assuming you are driving, I'd allow at least 30-45 minutes to get to the car rental drop-off. Then make sure you allow time to get from the rental lot to the terminal. And make sure you are at the terminal 2 hours before your flight because security at MCO can take a loooonnnnngggg time.

It's not a long drive, but I recommend that you arrive at the airport NO later then two hours in advance which would mean for the 11:45 you need to be there at 9:45.

Basically I suggest around 2 and a half hours to three hours in advance you leave for the airport.

MCO security has moments where lines are horrid and there is no way of telling what they will be doing on your day in January!
