How far can you go into Cinderella's castle?

You used to be able to walk up through Sleeping Beauty's Castle at Disneyland. It featured a series of animated Sleeping Beauty dioramas similiar in style to what the old downtown department stores used to feature in their windows at Christmas.

It was like watching the movie in miniature!

We were disappointed when they closed it a couple of years ago. IIRC it was because of ADA issues.

Actually, the Paris castle is Sleeping Beauty's ---- it is called "La Belle es Dormand" or something like that. (I don't know French, so please don't yell at me for misstating that) Although I think they were also calling it Belle's castle after Beauty and the Beast when we were there in 1999.

Philosophical answer: You can go half way into Cinderella's Castle. (After that you are going out.)

Answer you were probably looking for: You can walk all the way through.

;)

Yep, we went to Disneyland Paris in 2002 and it is most definitely Sleeping Beauty's castle.

 I was wondering. . . most resturants have "priority seating" but they still try to seat people that come with no reservations. I messed up and missed getting a 'priority seating' for the breakfast and am sick that they are filled. Do they take walkins at all? We are going to be there October 17-22. Any suggestions? My daughter is playing Cinderella in a school musical and I would LOVE to get a picture of her!!princess:

The castle at Paris Sleeping Beautys and is called Le Chateau de la Belle au Bois dormant. It is really nice (although it is smaller than the one at WDW and is pink). You can go into the basement where a dragon guards the castle and up to the first floor to look at the stained glass windows which tell the story of Sleeping Beauty.

I thought so! My family went to DL when I was very young, but I always had a vague memory of this. My mom always looks at me like I'm crazy when I bring it up. Thanks for confirming that it wasn't in my imaginaiton.:D

Call the day before, maybe two, just in case there were cancellations. You can call Disney dining directly from special phones in the parks. You might also try stopping by the restaurant that morning. If you can't get a PS for breakfast, put your name in for lunch.

As for the original post, when you are in the dining room, don't you go up more stairs to get to the restrooms? Or am I thinking of the spiral stairs that lead up to the dining room? It's been a few years since I've been there.
