I make a run to the border of GA/TN every weekend, 1 1/2 hours, to visit my Dad and a run to the border of GA/FL 4 times a year, 4 1/2 hours, to visit Spiderman!!
About 90 miles east to the PA border (or about 60 miles to the Pittsburgh area via the turnpike), maybe 150 miles or so to the WV border and like 120 miles to the Michigan border.
Well, in Rhode Island no matter where you live you are pretty close to a border.
I am about 20 minutes away from the Massachusetts border and about 30 minutes away from the Connecticut border. It will take approximately 1 1/2 hours to get to the New Hamshire border about 2 1/2 hours to get to the border of Maine. We can go to the ocean in 30 minutes!!
I grew up in the northwest corner of Ohio. I lived twenty minutes from Michigan and twenty from Indiana.
I now live in southwest Ohio. I am about an hour from Kentucky and and hour from Indiana. I am also about three hours from Pennsylvania and West Virginia. I am about 4 hours from Michigan.
About 65 miles from Minnesota, about 35 miles from Michigan, about 7 hours from Illinois or Iowa. About 4 hours from Canada (or a couple of hours if you go by boat across Lake Superior).
We are 2 hrs away from the Ohio border. But forever to Canada!! It's 4 1/2 hrs to the bridge, don't have a clue how far after that! Along ways!!! Or you could take the short cut, the Candian bridge down in Detroit. That's a couple of hrs too!!
we're pretty close to pennsylvania, maybe 1 1/2 hours. we're only like 5 minutes to VA, though, and like 20 minutes to DC. It's further to West Virginia and Delaware.
We're about 2 hours from both the north and west state borders of GA. We're about 4 hours from the south border (the south state border is halfway between my house and WDW!).
