For as much as I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to visit WDW every year or more than once a year, it just ain't gonna happen.... ;) We go on family vacations every winter; beit visiting my inlaws in Cetral Florida with a few days at my sisters in The Keys, or striking off for an island destination with DH and DSs for a shorter trip We try to budget every other year for somethng great - visiting thr inlaws isnt even comarable to what we sped at WDW!! :rolleyes1

I thought that I would be ok going every 2-3 years, but after watching our Home Videos from WDW tonight, I want to go back soo badly! I know it jsut isnt in the busget for April 09,but maybe we will shoo for Apil 2010. I am curious to know how often other families out there visit " The World"?

This will be our 3rd year in a row going to WDW. But before that, it was 6 years between trips. We just didn't have the money for it no matter how much we tried. It's easier now that DH's brother lives in Florida. We combine trips of WDW and visiting with him. But before BIL moved to Florida, we took our vacation to where ever he was living with his family.

Once a year - each July. We started a mother/daughter annual trip when my DD was in college. She's 32 now and married.

We leave our husbands at home, and we enjoy the road trip from Philly to WDW. I'm lucky that she cares so much to actually want to take a trip with me each year! :cool1:

We go 2x a year..We are DVC members and between that and the discount on Annual passes it is great!

We live 3.5 hours away. We go at least once a year, even if it's just for a short trip. In fact, most of our trips are short trips.

In 2 weeks, we'll be going on our 7th trip since 2006.

Well... last time we went was in October but I cant see us going back next year so I say every 2 yrs.

We have now committed to twice a year, trips with the kids... that leaves us one week of vacation for a "Mom and Dad Only" holiday somewhere warm and tropical at an all inclusive.

We are DVC members, which helps make these multiple trips, but we live on the opposite side of the continent, so it's the flights that make it a bit tough!!

There wasnt an option for more than once a year on your poll, so I didnt vote.

This will be our 4th trip in a 4 years. We may start going more often as we found out we get a very nice discount with my job. So, maybe twice a year starting next year??? HMMMM

I voted "every 2 years" b/c that is all I've been able to get the DH to do so far. If it were up to me we would go at least every 3 months. Eventhough we normally only go every other year, we are going next year. My s.i.l. asked us go on a Grand Gathering next year for our nephew's first trip. I didn't think the DH would go for it, but I told her yes anyway. After much convincing on my s.i.l. and m.i.l.'s part, my DH not only agreed to go but was excited about it. Not including the GG, after our December trip we should be going back in 2010. 2010 will be our 15th wedding anniversary, and we met at the MK. I am using that, and the fact that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Uni should be open as a reason that we HAVE to go in 2010. I am hoping that we will go once a year for at least the next 3 years. OK, so I am really hoping that my s.i.l. will get the Disney bug and want to go back every year, and we will go together.

We went last Oct for the first time as a family and are going back in mid Sept, so that is less than a yr for us.
We dont plan on going back next yr, I really want to hit the mountains instead.
I think 2010 late summer we will be going to Disneyland, but we will also do alot more than that.. we will try to hit several different areas of Cali.

So I voted every 2 years because that's our goal NOW! However when I worked a full time job and the girls were in daycare, we got daycare reimbursement and we would go to Disney every year!

Honestly it took us asking the girls what they wanted to do for vacation and their answers didn't include Disney. So we figured since we had been to Disney every year for 7 years it was time to do something else. Hey how about using that trailer that's sitting in the driveway!!! (yes we went to Disney with our trailer as well)

So really it all depends on how often you can save for the trip and when you want to go. Also have you seen the new stuff that's there and do you want to wait in line all day for something that might not be as exciting to see. (Finding Nemo Ride at the Living Sees or the Stitch ride at MK - waited 2 hours for both of those rides - 2 hours of my life gone!!):scared:

We try to go once a year, but in the last ohhhhhh 10 years or so, we have missed 3 years, so I think it kinda averages once a year.

every other yr is good for us the girls enjoy being there so much and the parks have been a bit different each time and we go at different times of the yr (once in May and last yr in Dec., next time in Oct) We decided that more often might not make it as special, maybe in a couple of yrs we'll try a cruise!

I voted for "every year." Right now we go 3 times a year because our kids are not school-age yet, so we've taken full advantage of value seasons and AP's. However, that will change once our kids are in school. Hoping to continue once a year at that point.

Well it's been 8 years since the last one! Trust me, not by choice! Now that DS is 4 though, if he ends up loving it, I'm hoping we can convince DH to go back A LOT sooner next time!:)

We get a season pass every few years and then make the most of it for that year, usually going 4-5 times during that year. Would love to live closer!

We go every 2 years and go 2-3 in a year then repeat the process

We go every year. We also take another vacation somewhere else each year too and try to sneak in a weekend here and there. I do see us in later years, dropping down to every other year, but still continuing two trips a year or doing true once in a lifetime trips (ie, African photo safari) for longer periods.
