We will be going to Disney next April. It is too early to make flight arrangements, but when I can make them how early would you book? Right away, wait a few months?

Hi fellow New Englander.... We are going in September and we booked our flights the end of September of 2010. I am constantly looking at all airlines when planning a trip to my favorite place and when I see a deal, I book immediately, even before booking with Disney.... Enjoy the planning:)

We live in MA too. We always fly Southwest and book flights as soon as they come out. We find that booking right away is better than waiting. You can usually book flights with SWA 5-6 months ahead. I booked my flights for our August trip in Feb. We paid $280 R/T they are now over $500. Don't wait! Hope this helped.

I book my flights the day they come out (6 months) ... generally they are cheapest the first day published. I alos fly jetblue who will give you a credit if flights go down.... I generally have'nt had to though.:goodvibes

We booked the airfare for our yearly Aug. trip last year when we were able to with Delta (330 days out). We got round trip our of Bradley for $179 with all fees/taxes. Glad we did it then since it has gone up to $259 now. As soon as you are able to and see a price you like I would book since who knows what will happen with gas prices.

I agree with the book early as prices will only go up. Be careful and keep an eye on whatever you book as the flight times may change (or, as in my case, be canceled). At this point, I am just waiting on Airtran to release November dates and hopefully be able to just cancel the Delta flights.

For our trip in June, I booked last July. Delta opens bookings @ 330 days, I think I booked ~320 days. The first day they were released they were sky high. A couple days later they dropped... $144RT/PP!

Yes, flights have changed, but I've been able to use those to my advantage... getting into MCO 3 hours earlier. When I checked Friday, my same flights would be $450RT/PP.:scared1:

Bottom line... have a budget, watch airfares. When the price is <= budget, buy. Don't look back.
