How far ahead can you book a cruise?

We're taking our 1st cruise ever this summer. It's a 3night, but we are looking to book onboard (and then transfer) for a7 night cruise in 2007. Ideally, we'd like to go in October as it will be cheaper and we'd like to pay cash and save up for it whereas I don't think we'd be able to do it in 2006. When do 2007 prices/schedules come out. We are going on the July 21st cruise..will Oct.2007 prices be out by then?

I'm pretty sure that on the boat you'll be able to go ahead and book a Oct. 2007 cruise. If not maybe you could book the furthest cruise out and then transfer as soon as the Oct. 2007 cruises become available.

We just returned from the 4/23 Western cruise and were told that Disney opens bookings 18 months before the date you intend to travel. The 2007 dates were not available when we cruised, but you can write to Disney and ask to be put on a list so that your preferred stateroom can be requested asap.

We wanted July or August of 2006 in August of 2004. Those rates came out in October of 2004. Hope this helps. What they did when we re-booked on the Wonder is book us for a date that was open then change it. The statreoom that I wanted was not open for the cruse so they put a not on my file.
