Are there any shortcuts?

I found a decent rate on hotels.com, but not sure about proximity.

I am still trying to make a hotel decision!

Thanks for all of the help and input... trip is coming soon, so better make a choice! Even considering priceline...

Thanks again!

Anabella is right across Katella from DCA, specifically California Screamin'. A good shortcut to the park entrances would be to walk up Disneyland Drive past Paradise Pier Hotel and then cut through the Grand Californian lobby to Downtown Disney.

I stayed there in April. It's about a 5-10 min walk, but its a nice one, through the Grand Californian.

If you click the link below for "How Far Is It" it will tell you the distance precisely.

Thanks once again! Everyone is wonderfully helpful on this board!

I'd remembered seeing the link for distance, but couldn't remember where it was.... HydroGuy, thanks for coming through once again!:woohoo:

Now if only I could make up my mind on where to stay! :)

I love the Anabella, I've stayed there everytime I've gone and didn't want to spend the extra cash for a DL Hotel

It's a nice walk if you go the "Disney way" through Paradise Pier/DTD area.

The hotel is nice too, super clean, and some rooms even have a view of DCA! (i.e. California Screamin, and Maliboomer., but still cool).

For those who have stayed there...

There are 2 room types listed on hotels.com:

Standard double: 2 double beds
Deluxe double:1 king and 1 double

Besides the bigger bed, is there a difference in the room size?

TIA

I stayed there a few years ago, it is a bit of walk and we just ended up paying for parking. I don't know if there is a shuttle to catch once you are across the street and in the resort area, but if there is I would take it.
