How expensive is the food in park?

I am trying to budget for our trip and am wondering if anyone can give insight on food prices. I am trying to see how far the meal plans will go that I am purchasing through AAA.

One way to budget is to share! Almost all the portions at Disneyland are HUGE. Even at Blue Bayou, which is the sit down place in the park you can share. Especially the Monte Cristo, which is truly enormous and so rich you probably wouldn't want to eat the whole thing even if you could! There is a place in New Orleans Square that has a fried chicken meal. It has like three pieces of chicken, salad and fries. We get two of those for two adults and two kids and make out fine. I always check out what other people have to get an idea of portions. The only places you cannot share are the character buffets. Have fun and Bon Appetit!
