How effective is the stroller they sell in the parks?

Hi There,
Planning a trip for August and looking for suggestions on a stroller. Our DD will be 5 and I know she will struggle with all of the walking (I think we averaged 14 miles/day last August). But...we don't need a stroller in the airports and when we brought ours last year it proved to be a huge pain (we almost left it behind).

I've looked into stroller rental but know that the one they sell in the parks is cheaper. I won't have a sleeping baby so I just need something to contain her when the crowds get crazy and to give her legs a rest. I would prefer to not rent ones in the park.

So, I guess my real question is:

Is the one they sell in the park (Kolcraft?) good enough or should we rent one from an outside company? And...does anyone know how much it costs to buy the one in the parks? I know it was cheaper at Walmart but don't remember what it cost.

DD is 40lbs (ish) but on the taller side

A few years back I saw people with them. They are an umbrella stroller, not much of a canopy. I'm sure there are better choices, but if you were going to wait and see if your child needs one and then buy, I'm sure it's better than nothing.

I purchased a Peg Pliko P3 for my niece. I took her to a baby store and tried out a few strollers to see how she fit and how it was to push. I did not care for the umbrella type strollers as my niece looked squished (shoulders rolled in). The one I picked had a flat back and it reclines almost flat. It had a lot of features that a full sized stroller had. Everyone on here was raving about Maclaren strollers at the time, I just didn't get it. It would have cost quite a bit more for all the features that I got on the P3 and my niece still would look squashed. I ordered the stroller from www.albeebaby.com and had it shipped to the resort. It was there when I arrived.

I figured I spent a bit more than renting from Disney for our trip and afterwards I could sell the stroller and not be out much money. I however ended up keeping the stroller and it came back another 3 times (took her younger sister the last two years). I still have the stroller and I don't want to sell it as it is one of my favorite strollers.

The one they sell is an umbrella stroller, I think it is about $50-$60. My brother and his wife ordered one on amazon and had it sent to the hotel, it was waiting for them when they arrived.

We have two little ones who will need a stroller. Instead of dragging both, we are going to order one from Walmart.com and have it shipped directly to the resort. It $27USD before shipping.
