I was last there the weekend the Avengers Campus opened and had to get in line by 6am for security each day to avoid massive lines. Are security lines still that bad?

Parks were also letting us in about 45 minutes before posted opening time. Is that still happening?

Not like that at all. A couple weeks ago, I’d get to security by 7:30. No wait. Then I’d get through the turnstiles and be at rope drop around 7:45. Was I first in line? No, but I was close enough to maximize my morning.

We are here now. We've been getting our boarding group at 7 am at our hotel on Harbor Blvd, then walking over to security. There are quite a lot of people there waiting for security to open around 7:15-7:20 am but once the security lanes open, it doesn't usually take more than 10 min at that time to get through. The park entrance opens about 30 min before opening and we've been held at the entrance to the lands until right at opening, currently 8 am. If you like to be at the very front of the crowd, you might want to be at security before 7 am, but we've been happy with how it's worked out for us and like focusing on the boarding groups from our hotel.
