How early to arrive before park opening?

How early to arrive before park opening? It's EMH for IOA both days we are going but we like to be 1st in line

really? That's earlier than you need to arrive for a wdw park

They start lining up pretty early.

I have never made it before about 45 min before park opening and that was only one time, (we sleep in these days) but there was a crowd when we got there.

While we were some of the first ones in, we were far from first.

One of the reasons I think is the hotels are so close to the parks.
