Our flight home leaves at 3:40 PM from Orlando Airport. We are staying at CBR. When I reserved my transfers with Tiffany Town Cars, they said they would pick us up at 2:30. It that to late to get back to the airport?

That looks to be cutting it very close. I have come up on waits at security of 40 minutes on a Sunday afternoon at MCO.

In my opinion, that is cutting it way too close!!!

When we were coming home, our towncar company advised that we leave DW 2 hours before our flight, which we did. We had the longest wait in the security line ever!!!! We arrived at the gate (with three kids in tow) as they were already boarding, so we didn't have a minute to spare.

We will definitely go with 3 hours before flight time next time!!

Yes I would ask for them to pick you up earlier. That is cutting it way too close. Also realize that they start boarding a half hour before the flight. There is a cut off time where they will deny boarding so I would allow more time.

I would rather be sitting at the gate waiting to board than stuck in a security line worrying whether I was going to make my flight.

We are booked with Quicksilver. I had read that most towncar services will pick up guests 2 hours before their flight time. When I emailed them to confirm that, they had already put us down for 2 1/2 hours before flight time because they said the end of June is a busy time - best to play it safe. I fully agree and am glad they were planning ahead!:goodvibes

I would definitely have a pick-up of at least 2.5 hours before your scheduled departure time. You just never know what traffic is going to bring, or how long the lines at security will be. Better to get there way ahead of time than having to run to your plane.

Most times at MCO have had long lines at ticket and security... 2:30 pick up might leave you 40 mins to get to the gate....not nearly enough time....I definately would be there 2 hrs at least...call them back...maybe they have the incorrect flight time...

We used TTC last week and they advised two hours early. That was plenty of time for us but they were using a new automated check in system and it didn't work for us and a Delta rep did everything for us. I wouldn't risk going on just an hour.

You definitely need more time. The security line can be VERY long and it isn't worse the stress. Allow two hours.

We need to be at the gate 60 mins before our flight time (that's what they told us cutoff was) and I like to be checking our luggage minimum 2 hours before. I'm assuming the drive from WDW to MCO late on a Sunday pm would be about 1/2 hour-I was going to be picked up 4:00 to be checking in at 4:30 for a 7:00pm flight (did I just confuse everyone-including myself-LOL).
I'd rather be early than panic.

You don't mention what day of the week or time of year you are going. i never fly in or out on a weekend, so I don't experience the wait times that are mentioned here. I usually do get to the airport early anyway (better safe than sorry), and end up shopping (I always have to buy a Soap Opera digest, since i missed the stories!), and getting something to eat. The longest time it took me to get thru the check in and security was about 1/2 hour. But, I usually fly either Tues or Wed afternoons.

Have a great trip!

For me that would be fine.

I leave 1.5 hours in advance and that includes returning a car (normally to Hertz which is offsite).

I read about these lines all the time at Orlando, but maybe I am just lucky. It has NEVER taken me more then half an hour to do EVERYTHING>
