How long would you allot to get through security and into the park on a midweek morning?

The gates normally open 15 minutes prior to the official opening time(occasionally 5-10 min. earlier than that on a busy weekend), and on a late February weekday, I don't imagine the lines would be too long. Certainly if you are in line 30 minutes prior to the official opening time, you should be inside the park within 5 minutes of them letting people through. Get there 45 minutes prior to Rope Drop time, and you'll be in even quicker. Main St. should be relatively empty when you get in, so it won't take more than 2-3 minutes to reach Plaza Inn. Of course, I'm assuming you're not going to Early Entry/Magic Morning, as I'm an AP, and unfamiliar with how those work. I've done rope drop mostly on weekends, and so long as I'm in line 30-45 minutes prior to the drop time, I'm always in the park within 10 minutes of gates opening, and at the rope no fewer than 10 minutes prior to drop.

Oh, getting through security is separate from getting into the park itself. If you go when I said, it won't take you more than 5 minutes to get through that part, before you wait in the line to enter the park. If you are coming later than park opening, expect the time I mentioned to increase a bit, so instead of a 5-10 minute line to get into DL itself, it might be 10-15 min.

And how could I forget? There's this small ride that's opening in mid-January, which may have a process which requires arrival earlier in order to ride it. That could very well impact how many people get there in the morning, and for now there's no way to know what's going to happen, as it certainly impacted morning lines in Orlando over the past couple of weeks.
