How Early Should I Make Le Cellier ADR (late January 2008 trip)?

Hello. My wife are I are planning to go to the world for five days in late January/early February. We'd like to do lunch at Le Cellier Steakhouse, which was great when we went two years ago.

I'm wondering how far out I should try to make the ADR. I'm not sure of our exact days, but we will probably be starting around January 26th and be there during that week. So we're about 180 days out now.

Should I set it up right away, or are we safe to wait a bit? This is a slower time period at least.

I'd make it as soon as you can. Lunch ressies are easier to come by then dinner but why take a chance. If you know you want to eat there then make your ressie early.

I would try now for reservations. I have been trying for months for early September and haven't been able to get LeCellier yet.

We made ressies 4 months ahead for LeCellier in August and got the last spot for our party size of 3... do it now!

We made ours at exactly 180 days out, and got exactly what we wanted! Don't delay!!!! Call asap!!! Good Luck!!!

Le Cellier is the one place you MUST make at 180 days! Lunch is normally easier to get into than dinner, but you still want to be sure you get in during your visit.

Make them right now (if you can). We were in Epcot on July 4th doing the Segway Tour in the early morning and as we passed Canada our guide said that dinner reservations for there were sold out through December. Why not make them now to be on the safe side. You can always cancel them if your plans change.

LOL Too funny. For the past two years we've been fine making our mid to late January Le Cellier reservations a few weeks before our trip. Had a choice of many times and dates as well.

Good luck.

My checkin date is January 27th and my 180 day window is July 31. If you have your room reservation you can book 10 days worth of ADRs. If you don't have your room reservation, you can only book one ADR. So if you are arriving on January 26th, your 180 window should be July 30. There is a calculator here on the dis website (wdwinfo.com) under dining.

Why wait? If you know you want to eat there then book it Danno!:thumbsup2

I have a reservation for dinner at Le Cellier for Sept 29th that I booked at exactly 180 days out. I've since called back several times trying to get an earlier ADR time without success. Late Sept is supposed to be a slow time too. I'd book now if I were you. This is one restaurant where we've seen walk ups tuned away every single trip.

LOL, We've walked in each of our January trips. While it doesn't hurt to call, I wouldn't fret about it at all!

Tried calling last week for a trip 2 months and 2 weeks away and it was booked the whole day and night! Had no other issues making ADR's for that week though!
