How early for First Family at MK?

I've got a question for everyone. We are going with DD2/DD5 as well as our inlaws from Nov. 16-22. In years past, we were selected for first family at DHS and we were there about 45 minutes early or so. We would love (who wouldn't?) to get first family at MK? My question is, how early do you think we would need to be there before park open to have a realistic shot? I would think at least 75 minutes or so, but now that they have pushed up some of the open times to 8am, anything more than an hour with two little girls would be a problem.

I'd say about an hour and all look really happy. It's purely luck getting picked

I would think with them opening the park 15 minutes early many days, you would need to be 1 1/2 - 2 hours early. We missed an early morning ADR at Ohana one morning many many years ago and were about 2 hours early and were chosen. By the time we arrive 45 minutes or so before a regular park opening now, there are usually already a good number of people waiting.
