How early for Epcot EMH rope drop?

From my research the suggested time to arrive at Epcot for rope drop is about 40 minutes before opening. But when there is morning EMH, what would be a good time to arrive. I will be doing FP+ at MK later that day so I'm hoping to go right to Soarin'. I'd love to keep my wait under 20 minutes. Recommendations?

I have the same question. So do you mean 7:30am for an 8:00am EMH?

I'm going to assume that what WEDWDW means.

I'd also wonder how much leeway I'd have. Might be hard to get everyone out the door at 6:45, so if we got there closer to 7:45 would it be packed at the gates?

You'll still be Ok at 7:45 AM,but the wait for Soarin' will be longer than if you arrive at 7:30 AM,but I think you will still be under 20 minutes if you go STRAIGHT to Soarin' walking quickly.

Last week we stayed at Boardwalk Villas and hit the international gw entrance 15 minutes before rope drop. We didn't run, but walked with a purpose to Soarin. Had at most a 10 minute wait. We made it all the way past the split to the 2 theatres before we had to stop. I didn't see what time they let us in the park. We may have got in a few minutes earlier than the front entrance, which likely helped our cause. When we came out, standby was already 50 minutes.
