How early does the boat and monorail begin from resorts?

I know the buses begin around 7am but what about the boat from Wilderness Lodge? Can I still make it to MK by 830? And if I was to take boat to Contemp, monorail to TTC then monorail to EpCot will I make it to EpCot by 830?

Boats from WL start running 30 minutes before MK opens. This includes 30 minutes before EE openings.

Probably not. But that's the long way around anyway. You could take the Crockett bus to TTC and board the Epcot monorail there.

when I was there last week we were told that buses start 1 hour before the park's official opening time. For us, the official opening time was 9 and the first bus showed up around 8:05.

I believe that officially it is supposed to be 1 hour before opening.

When we needed to get to MK from AKL 2 weeks ago for a 7:35 PS with Cindy, we were told to get the first bus. I checked with GS & was told that the first bus should leave about 7:00. I questioned the emphasis on the word should & was told to be at the stop between 6:45 & 6:50 to be sure. Sure enough, the 1st bus pulled out at 6:50!

My point? Don't count on an exact departure time for that first bus if you need to get to a PS!

The transportation systems start an hour and sometimes more before scheduled early entry (thus about 7 and maybe 6:45) on early entry days. Whether you can take the boat depends. It appears that in some of the slower seasons Disney is not running the boats for early entry and thus it will not start until about 8 as it does on non-ee days (but likely to get you there by 8:30); also if there is heavy fog or bad weather the boat may not run. However, do not despair. Moreover, that roundabout trip to Epcot is not necessary. WL has a bus that runs to Epcot that will begin 7 or before on ee day and about 7:30 on non-ee days. Also, there is a another bus that runs from FW to WL to TTC that will start at 7 or before everyday regardless of any ee; thus if you cannot take a boat to MK in the morning you can take the bus over to TTC and then monorail to MK (or to Epcot if you want).
