How early does Magical Express start?

Magical Express is 24 hours. I saw someone post that they got picked up at 3:00am. For a 7:00 flight, you will be picked up around 4:00am.

You will not be able to check-in your luggage at the resort. You may want to consider an airport hotel for the last night.

We once had a 0600 departure so were on the bus at 0300. My FIL booked that one and on paper it looked good getting home nice and early in the day. It was a doubly brutal plan since flying east to west usually bothers me more than west to east. Now our usual flight leaves MCO at 1500. I'd rather arrive home late than as a basket case.

I definitely don't want to do an airport hotel the last night. Maybe I should rethink the 7 am flight, but it's $85 less than the 9am flight and for 4 people that's a sizable amount.

Pickup is about 3 hours before your flight. My math suggests a 4a pickup.

Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I thought I read somewhere on these boards that for international flights, DME pickup is 4 hours prior to flight time. I know the OP is probably asking about a domestic flight, but for those traveling internationally, this would be good information to know.

Yup, for international destinations, it is indeed 4 hours before. If we have a direct flight back to Canada, that's what it is. However if we have a US connection, then the usual 3 hours before is what we get.

Is $340 worth it to have to leave your hotel at 6 a.m. rather than 4 a.m.? You're getting two extra hours of sleep for that price. Personally, I'd just suck up the 7 a.m. flight and take a nap once I got home. At the end of a vacation, there isn't much difference between 4 and 6 a.m.--they both suck! LOL.

Haha I agree 100%!! I went ahead and booked the 7am flight, I'll worry about sleep later!!
