How Early do you Reserve BC?

I need a 3 BR for May 18-24, wondering when I should start getting quotes? Last year I rented in January, but thought I read somewhere that rates go down closer to time? And how many places and where do you get quotes from? We rented from VS last time, the other place never contacted me.

I would probably go ahead and start getting quotes now. We just started planning for a trip April 5-12 and found that WBC was nearly filled. We were looking for a presidential suite but found the only thing available was a 2BR deluxe. At 60 days from check in is when the rates will go down, but then you risk not having any availability. Some places will go ahead and book and then lower the rate in the 60 day window if there is availability.

I got a quote from vacating strategy for May 18-25 for 2 br deluxe it was 960.00 I rented from someone on ebay last May for 600.00. He told me to check back at 60 days out for the best price. I'm not patient enough to wait so we booked visitana thru skyauction.

Now is a good time! I asked for quotes this week. VS was the only one that had availability for our week.
