how early do you book?

I plan to book myself this time, instaed of through a travel agent


mailing because then I can get my CAA discount on the hotels in disney anyways . . . .

I cannot get air fare quotes until the end April or so from charters. And west jet is ALOT OF $ right now.

What should I do, I want to book my room soon, but I do not know the exact dates until I can confirm the air

I would book soon and if you have to adjust your dates you can.

That is what I thought too. A couple of Q's . . .

how much deposit do they take? what happens if you have to cancel the res all together? how much does that cost?
or if I have to change the dates a wee bit what (if any) penalities for that?

We start planning atleast 16 months in advance and book when we were not staying DVC atleast a year out.

The deposit is one nights stay + tax, if you don't do a package you can cancel up to 14 days for all your money back. I changed my date a bit last time and had no extra fees the only thing is that it is subject to availablity so not good in peak season, but you should be fine.

Fiance and I are going for our honeymoon in October and I know exactly how you feel about the airfares! Crazy prices and they are not even direct flights! I have enough airmiles for one flight on westjet (I'm a gold card member 1400 points!) but I don't want to pay $750 for a flight.

Did an agent tell you watch for prices at the end of April?
